Director of Information Technology (FT/YR) (Incline Village, NV in Reno, NV

Located on the beautiful north shore of Lake Tahoe, the Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) provides recreation & utility services for the Incline Village & Crystal Bay communities. Now hiring a dedicated & experienced person to provide overall leadership & management of the Information Technology (IT) Division; for supervision of staff & management of resources consistent with the general administrative direction of the General Manager in the planning, analysis, implementation, operation & maintenance of systems, programs & procedures to process data & solve problems by use of computers. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) with an emphasis in Computer Science or Business Administration; seven years experience in business systems analysis, project management or information systems department management, Public sector preferred, including 2 years supervisory; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Experience with financial & HRMS based systems, PC's, Windows, databases, word processing & spreadsheet applications desired. Microsoft certification desirable. Other Skills or Abilities Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service & problem-solving skills. Possess high level program design & coding skills. Establish good working relationships & remain up-to-date on computer technology. Effectively present information to a broad range of user abilities. Create reports, correspondence & procedure manuals. Detail oriented with the ability to handle confidential information. Read, analyze & interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Possess a valid Driver's License & fulfill on-call status during scheduled weekends; schedule & perform system downtime during non-business hours or days. Annual salary $86,320 - $102,606 DOE/DOQ & incl. health insurance, paid leave & retirement benefits.
